Size  / interior?

 The inside components are 100% food grade plastic and stainless steel. The kiosks are about as big as 3 Coke/soda vending machines(basically 4 feet wide, and 5 feet deep, and about 9 feet tall for the smaller model) They can almost fit anywhere, and is meant to be placed outside. 

What  do I do as an ice vending kiosk owner?

Minimal stocking : just bags, twisty ties and some change! That’s it! A pretty easy business overall! The deposits will be weekly in the busy selling season, and re-stocking bags takes some time each week..

What is needed to get my ice vending  business up and running?

  1. Make sure the location has accesse to a water line
  2. Power lines need to be 208/220 volt electricity.
  3. Confirm with the city if you need any permit or special requirements (if any) ( we can help). Some cities may require the machine to be tied to the city sewer for drainage. We can help with machine setup and power/plumber questions.
  4. Prepare your pad site for kiosk arrival -Some locations pour concrete pads, other don't. Bollards are a nice addition, as they protect the kiosk. We usually estimate about $2,000 for a set up( concrete, bollards, water lines and power to the site)

Where do I buy supplies? such as bags ect?

All supplies may be ordered from us or Kooler Ice.. easy!

What are the buyer's responsibilities?

  1. Securing a location(lease or buy, or your own shop)
  2. Secure permits/utilities (electrical/plumbing hook-ups) per State/City Codes
  3. All site improvements for the machine.( pad, bollards, piping, meter ect)
    1. "Sales Tax and Use Exemption" Certificate (fill out, sign and mail to Dealer)
    2. "State Sales and Use Tax" Permit
    3. "State Food Manufacturing License" - Required to sell ice
    4. Initial deposit (40% of total cost)
    5. Sales Order Form shall be submitted to us prior to the order of a machine.
    6. Remaining balance due upon notification (7) business days prior to delivery.
    7. The buyer is responsible for shipping fees from “Kooler Ice” to your location
  4. Servicing Machine-
    1. Maintain cleanliness of machine/location.
    2. Minor mechanical adjustments/maintenance
    3. State required sample testing for Ice and Water
    4. Load bags, add twist-ties every now and then

What are the DEALER responsibilities?

  1. We can arrange Shipping/Delivery, as we know some ways to perhaps save you money!
  2. We "set" the Ice kiosk for you. (This involves a forklift as well as jacks and leveling tools).
  3.  We will unload your kiosk, as well as clean it and get it operational and producing ice.
  4. We will deliver to you a training manual, as well as fully train you on the kiosk computer system as well as the ice machine.
  5. Warranty support and processing in accordance with Limited Warranty
  6. Bi-annual maintenance in accord with Maintenance Agreement
  7. Parts, supplies, service and special assistance when needed
